Country Squire Chapbook

Featuring poems about heartbreak, Japanese fish markets, and run-ins with the Nebraska State Highway Patrol, Country Squire (2026) is a vulnerable attempt to make connection with the self, and, ultimately, the shared emotional experiences of us all.

"Colin Kaferle's work brings to mind streaks of silver dancing across the spine of a great river in summertime. Illuminating. Effervescent. Textured flashes of reality. His poems shine, and they would not be without the great blue depths below." - Dan Leif, Portland-based writer and musician.

This 32 page chapbook was lovingly designed and printed on beautifully textured paper in Portland, Oregon. Limited run first edition pressing from 2026.
